⭐️ Since I know myself, I have been interested in music. I have over 10 years of teaching experience. Three years ago I finished my doctoral thesis about music education and multilingualism at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. I would like to pass on what I have learned from both my academic research and my pedagogical experience in order to raise awareness, especially for early childhood music education and language acquisition. If you are ready, we will start today with the first topic 🙂 The most common question I am asked by parents or caregivers is how and where to start with children. The greatest advice I give to all without exception is to listen to lots of music. Just like before the child starts speaking a language, in the first 2-3 years of his life he listens a lot and collects sounds, words and sentences. It is possible to talk about the same progress in music. The more and more varied music reaches the child’s brain, the more he will want to express it. When I say listen to music, I don’t just mean children’s songs. They also form an important part of the picture, but different genres such as pop, jazz, classical music and dance (which are age-appropriate) should reach the ears of the children. So and so their life will be rich and they will have a good musical background.

🎈Kendimi bildim bileli müzikle içiçeyim. 10 senenin üstünde öğretmenlik deneyimim var, üç sene önce de Almanya Münih’te Hoschschule für Musik und Theater’da müzik eğitimi ve çokdillilik konulu doktora tezimi tamamladım. Hem akademik araştırmalarımdan hem de eğitimcilik deneyimlerimden öğrendiklerimi paylaşmak, özellikle çocuklarda müzik eğitimi ve dil eğitimi konularında farkındalığı arttırmak istiyorum. Hazırsanız ilk konumuzla başlıyorum 🙂 Bana ebeveynlerden ve çocuk yetiştirenlerden en çok gelen soru çocukları müziğe nasıl ve nereden başlatmaları gerektiği. Benim bu konuda istisnasız herkese verdiğim en büyük tavsiye bol bol müzik dinlemek. Nasıl ki çocuk bir dili konuşmaya başlamadan önce, hayatının ilk 2-3 senesi uzun uzun dinliyor ve kelimeler, cümleler biriktiriyor, müzikte de aynı ilerlemeden söz etmek mümkün. Çocuğun beynine ne kadar çok ve çeşitli müzik giderse, içinden o kadar çok şey çıkmak isteyecektir. Müzik dinleyelim derken sadece çocuk şarkılarını kastetmiyorum. Onlar da resmin önemli bir parçasını oluşturuyorlar, ama pop, caz, klasik, dans gibi çeşitli türler (onların yaşı için uygunsuz olmayan örnekler tabii ki) çocukların kulaklarına girerse, hayatları zenginleşir ve müzikal olarak iyi bir altyapıya sahip olurlar.
